COMED is proud to have won the GERMAN MEDICAL AWARD 2023 for medical innovations in the "Product" category!

We were recognized for the implementation of the innovative "COMED OP-Scan" solution.
Digital material recording via scanner during an ongoing operation ensures seamless documentation and guarantees continuous traceability. The elimination of non-specialist and error-prone manual activities saves the OR staff a lot of time. All recorded materials are documented with their respective status and transferred directly to the hospital information system along with the electronic patient file.

Under the patronage of Karl-Josef Laumann, Minister of State for Labor, Health and Social Affairs, the award ceremony took place at MEDICA on the evening of November 15, 2023 in Düsseldorf.
The top-class jury, headed by Prof. Dr. jur. Alexandra Jorzig, awarded COMED for an outstanding achievement in the field of medicine & management. The "COMED OP-Scan" solution significantly and highly efficiently improves the quality of care for the patient in focus.
