SHS is a materials management system that specializes in the requirements of the healthcare sector and consists of comprehensive merchandise management, controlling and online ordering modules. It is open to all articles from all suppliers. SHS can be used as an on-premise or cloud version.
Merchandise management
Modular merchandise management system with mobile scanners, vision app and web-based user interface. SHS offers the option of warehouse management including central warehouse, mapping of internal and external locations and is multi-client capable.
Notification of requirements
Flexible approval workflows enable (re-)orders to be triggered directly at ward cupboards, cold rooms or shelf storage areas. SHS OR-Scan also assigns all materials used in an OR directly to the patient and saves clinical staff time and effort for non-clinical activities.
Seamless integration into the customer's IT environment. More than 150 different online interfaces to ERP, financial accounting, HIS, LIS, DMS and BI systems implemented.
Standardized reporting enables monthly and quarterly evaluations at case or product group level. More than 100 different reports included in the SHS standard.
OCI webshop and e-commerce supplier connection. EDI and OCI interfaces simplify master data maintenance and the exchange of electronic data such as product catalogs, orders, delivery bills and invoices.

Digitization with Comed SHS
All orders are sent electronically from SHS directly to the suppliers or purchasing companies. The dispatch type (EDI, OCI, e-mail, fax) is stored in the system for each individual recipient, so that no further user intervention is necessary. Orders are sent electronically via standardized interfaces, and electronic delivery bills including batch and expiry dates are integrated for local incoming goods inspection and posting.

Daily workflows are supported by the intuitive SHS Vision app, which is delivered on state-of-the-art scanners with MDM.
