The 14th COMED & KOSYMED User Conference, held on June 9 and 10, 2026, in Soest, was dedicated to the COMED Group’s 40th anniversary. Over the course of two days, users, decision-makers, and industry experts gathered to discuss current developments in the healthcare sector and exchange ideas on digitalization, process optimization, and supply security.

The first day of the event combined strategic insights from management with exciting case studies from hospitals and laboratories, as well as practical application examples. The panel discussion on the future of the healthcare supply chain drew particular interest. The event concluded on a high note with the anniversary party, which provided an opportunity for personal conversations and shared memories of four decades of COMED history.

The second day focused on technological innovations and in-depth technical sessions. Numerous presentations and interactive sessions provided an in-depth exploration of topics such as end-to-end processes, automation, and digital laboratory solutions. Customers and product teams took the opportunity to exchange ideas and actively contribute to the further development of solutions.

The conference concluded with a summary of the key insights, the presentation of the COMED Customer Awards, and a group barbecue. In a relaxed atmosphere, discussions continued, new contacts were made, and existing partnerships were further strengthened.

The event demonstrated once again how valuable direct exchange is within the healthcare community. In addition to professional insights, the focus was above all on personal dialogue, new perspectives, and jointly shaping the future of the healthcare system.
